Year 3 pupils explore science with the Explorer Dome
Year 3 pupils at Begbrook Primary Academy were excited to experience a fantastic visit from the Explorer Dome – an internationally-renowned science outreach organisation known for its dynamic and engaging interactive shows.
Pupils were captivated by the hands-on experience, learning all about light and colour through the Explorer Dome’s fun and educational presentation.
A highlight of the day was the magical moment when the children danced under the sparkling reflections of a mirror ball, exploring the primary and secondary colours of light in an exciting, memorable way.
Explorer Dome travels across the UK and beyond, offering unique, curiosity-driven science shows for schools and community events.
This visit was a wonderful opportunity for the Year 3 pupils to engage with science in an interactive environment that encouraged their curiosity and learning.
A school spokesperson said: “The visit from Explorer Dome brought the topic of light to life, sparking excitement and a deeper understanding of the world around us.
“The pupils left with new knowledge and fond memories of their day of discovery.”
