Picture News! subscription at Begbrook  

Begbrook has now subscribed to Picture News! which is a great current affairs resource for us to use in school as well as for parents to use at home. Each week, we will be sending home a ‘newspaper’ and a family friendly conversation starter document to support families engaging in current affairs in a child friendly way. We also have a display board in the main hall with other resources that are part of our subscription. This includes pictures, key vocabulary and opinion pieces on current affairs from around the world. We are hoping that this will support our children gain an interest and understanding in the world around them. This will also support our work around British Values and the importance of them in our community and society in general. Look out for the first email this week!
