Online Safety

This week we talked to children about being good digital citizens. Each year group had a focus area (outlined below) which they focused their discussions on.

Y1/Y2 – Utilise proper online etiquette

Y3 – Respectfully voicing your opinion

Y4 – Respect others’ point of view on the internet. Accept what others say kindly and disagree appropriately.

Y5/Y6 – Be a positive digital citizen: online etiquette, respectfully voicing opinion, respecting others. Behave safely, not silly. Digital footprints: everything you leave behind.

Ask your child about what they talked about in the classroom on Friday!
