As you will know, we always spend the last week of term talking to children about keeping safe online, ahead of the half term holiday where children are likely to be spending increased time on the internet.
For this week’s theme, we looked specifically at one of the 4 C’s of Online Safety – Content. Using the umbrella questions below, we talked to children about the different opportunities, risks and consequences of being online.
Year 1 and 2: What do I do if someone asks me about my private information online?
Year 3: What signs can I look for to be sure what I am reading is trustworthy and safe?
Year 4: How can technology have a negative impact on someone’s life? How can I be sure if something is fact or fake?
Year 5: What is the impact of online influencers on Social Media? What is copyright?
Year 6: How can social media shape your views?
