Child on child harm

This week, we continued to talk to our children about child on child harm – to help children know what we do at BPA to prevent and manage child on child harm.

When monitoring child voice about child on child harm from term 2, it was great to see lots of children being able to talk about what child on child harm is. We identified that we next need to focus on supporting children to talk about our strategy to preventing and managing child on child harm and so the focus of our daily reviews and Friday’s safeguarding weekly theme session this week was to talk this through using the poster below (which is displayed in our classrooms):
