Term 3, Week 1 – Speak Out, Stay Safe
Speak Out Stay Safe
At the start of each term, we talk to children about their rights to being safe.
We do this using NSPCC’s Speak out. Stay Safe initiative.
We talk to children about their rights to being safe to:
• Empower them to know that safety is a basic right, not a privilege
• Support them to feel confident to speak up if something feels wrong
• To help them recognise unsafe situations
• To prevent them from experiencing harm/further harm
Educated children are less vulnerable to abuse, neglect or exploitation.
Please talk to your children to help them to know their rights:
