Term 3, Week 1 – What can you do if you’re worried about something?

Term 3, Week 1 - What can you do if you're worried about something?

RSHE – What can you do if you’re worried about something?

As we are teaching Relationships, Sex and Health Education this term, our first safeguarding weekly theme for Term 3 is to talk to children about what they can do if they have any worries or concerns that relate to these topics.

We will be talking to children about:

-Recapping who their 5 safe adults are. This was a safeguarding weekly theme in term 1, which encouraged children to think about who their safe adults were if they needed to talk to someone about something unsafe or worrying.

-Reminder about class chatterboxes. Children can post notes in their class chatterbox if they want to share a worry but don’t feel able to talk about it.

-The number for Childline. Children can contact Childline if they don’t feel they can talk to anyone else.
